wait . . . wait . . . and then wait some more
we wait in traffic
in line at the grocery store
to see the doctor
for test results
on hold on the phone for anything and everybody
we all wait for something
as i was pursuing a reason for feeling so unwell, it felt like i spent w -a-a-a-a-a-y too many hours in waiting rooms ~ it seemed like such a waste of time, energy, and effort
does finally getting a diagnosis make it all worthwhile? not really, because now i just have a label to live with
but as i’m reminded in {Isaiah 55:8} that God’s ways are not our ways
and
“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord”
{Psalm 27:14 New International Version {NIV}}
{Psalm 27:14 New International Version {NIV}}
Take Care

Not a fan of waiting. Although with a good book in hand it's not half bad and yes sometimes our waits I believe are Gods way of slowing us down in a world of instant gratification.
I have to think of the verse, "The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me"
... yes even in our wait and in our diagnosis. Sounds like that is what you are experiencing. God bless.
