Packing

Wayne & Kyle are heading to Cuba tomorrow, that's right Cuba. It's a father-son type of thing. I am quite excited for the both of them. I do not think that they have ever spent that much time alone together. It was Kyle's idea to do it too!! Wayne thought that it was pretty cool to have our 18 year old son want to spend time with him. So we're packing them up and they fly out tomorrow, later in the day. For those who know me, I am a little anxious about it all. I do not travel well at the best of times and not being able to be there, makes my heart pound a bit. So I would aprreciate your prayers for them as they travel and spend some father-son time together, and to please pray for me too.
So it's just going to be me & Darcy for a whole week. We too have never spent a whole week alone together, so it'll be intereting to see how that all pans out. We'll still have our routine of school and work, but just me & him the rest of the time.
Krystle comes home for Easter weekend on Good Friday and she's already got the whole weekend all booked up. She plays at church on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Has a dinner at her boyfriends' parents house. Dinner with my family on Sunday, and then she's off to campus again on Monday. Atleast that will make the time fly by. Late Sunday, early Monday, Wayne & Kyle fly back. Hoping that the time will go fast for me, but slow for them to enjoy their time together. I know what a oxymoron. LOL

So here I am...

So... I've joined! I've been enjoying reading so many friends' blogs, and a dear friend said to me "you should have a blog' and so I thought to myself, maybe it is time to have my own. So I did it. Now the big question, "What to write".
I guess I'll explain the name of my blog. My husband and I own a 100 acre farm which is called Hidden Haven Farms. There are days when I just love it out in the country, to sit on my porch and enjoy the view, some days (and thankfully they are few) I do not enjoy the country, due to the other farmers who enjoy spreading their farm scents all over. (we have a few pig farmers on the road). But over all I am so thankful that we were able to raise our family in the country.
