My One Word?
THANKFUL…
Having a thankful heart was/is not a natural state for me. A thankful mind-set does not entail a denial of reality with all its problems. Instead it places our focus on the One who can comfort us. It is impossible to spend too much time thanking and praising Him. It helps to put us in a proper relationship with Him. Being thankful is not some magical formula, it is a choice, one needed to be made daily.
Which is exactly what I did… each day I wrote down something or someone that I am thankful for.
