Salsa Queens

We’ve been making salsa for several years now.  Our first year was awesome.  The second year abundant. So much so, that our third year we abandoned making any.  By our fourth year, we were amazing. And last year, well last year, we aced it.

We are now Salsa Queens…
We are the Salsa Queens, young and sweet, mincing garlic cloves
Salsa Queens, feel the heat from the pots on the stove
We can chop, we can stir, having the time of our lives

Using the same recipe as before, we scalded, peeled, chopped, minced, stirred, poured and sealed, until our fingers were numb, our eyes tired, our feet were sore and the house smelled of the most delicious salsa around.
