mhmm monday

What could be better than a refreshing sangria for the long weekend holiday?  From this website comes a sweet sparkling sangria loaded with luscious summer berries, and full of flavours. I can hardly think of a better summer moment.

Summer Berry Sangria

Ingredients:
1 pound strawberries, hulled and quartered
1 (6 ounce) package raspberries
1 (6 ounce) package blueberries
1 (6 ounce) package blackberries
½ cup granulated sugar
2 bottles your favourite white wine
½ lemon sliced

Directions:
Place berries in large pitcher and sprinkle with sugar. Stir to combine. Allow to berries to soften and release their juices for about 30 minutes.
Pour wine into pitcher, add lemon slices. Stir and refrigerate several hours.
Enjoy!

Blessings
