Tina Fey + Steve Carell = A funny and heartwarming film. "Date Night" is a movie about a couple, named the Fosters, who are running in the biggest rut of their life. They want to spark it up, and decide that one night they will change up the routine. So they go into the city and try to get into a new popular restaurant. But when it's full, Phil decides to take the reservation of a couple who doesn't show up. While they're having dinner two men approach them and instructs them to stand up and go with them. They think the men are with the restaurant and want to talk to them about taking someone else's reservation. But it appears the couple whose reservation they took crossed someone and the two men work for this person...
What follows is a nice mix of comedy and inner conflict that brings you deeper into the story. There are moments of heart-to-heart talks and moments that could make you cry-- from laughing or from understanding.
Thankfully though on our "date night" last night, nothing like that happened.
Could you imagine? We went to the local pub, had a bite to eat,
{without taking any one's reservation} enjoyed a nice relaxing walk on the beach and came home.

It is nice to know that even after 25 years married you still enjoy date nights....it is an encouragement to all to remember to take time to spend with just your spouse...
