Niagara Falls

Wayne and I spent last weekend at Niagara Falls. It was a wonderful weekend away for two. We left Friday night after he had finished the bus route and arrived at our hotel around 7:30. We took a walk around the block and quickly learned where everything was. We were only one block away from the Falls, The Skylon tower and the famous Clifton Hill tourist area.

Saturday morning we walked down to see the falls. here is our first view.

Absolutely breathtaking.

On Saturday night we had reservations at the Skylon Tower. The tower stands at 520 feet (from street level) looking over the American Falls and the Horseshoe Falls. We ate in the revolving dining room, which takes an hour to make one complete revolution. Definitely enough time to enjoy the delicious dinner served.

The view of the American Falls from our window seat in the Skylon Tower.

We finished up the night by heading to the casino.

After 1 1/2 hour and $10 later it was time to head back to the hotel. What a wonderful way to end the evening.

Blessings
